The reason why it hurt when you took it out, just like the person below me said, was because usually tampons absorb the blood which makes it easier and less painful to pull the tampon out. That's like, say for instince you put your DRY finger in your mouth, bit down and tried to pull it out. Now, try and WET your finger and put it in your mouth, bite down and try to pull it out. A lot easier huh?

And, no it didn't hurt more because your hymen wasn't broken. That has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Okay, to try to use one. First, read the instrutions on the back, they really helped me. Then just sit down on the toliet, and try to put the tampon in. It really isn't that hard at all. I'm guessing you have the ones with the applicators on it, little plastic tube, so it should be very easy. Well, once you have it in, or you think you do. Of course, take the tube off lol. Than take your finger (this may sound gross) and push the tampon in more. Don't worry, there is no way to loose your tampon in you.

When you stand up, sit down, run, swim, anything you should NOT feel any pain or discomfort, like you could feel the tampon in you. If so, the tampon is not in all the way.

Hope I helped ?

Normally, tampons have absorbed a lot of blood before you remove them. This makes them easier to remove and shouldn't cause any pain. Taking out a fresh tampon will be uncofortable because it will not simply slide out.

There are tampons made especially for teens or women who have not used them before. These are often branded as 'mini tampons' or something similar. These are great the first few times, until you get the hang of them.

It's helpful for you to figure out where you'll be inserting a tampon BEFORE you try to insert it - fingers are a wonderful help here. You can also see what angle the tampon will need to go in at. Generally, you'll be pointing the tampon towards your lower back - this sometimes comes to a surprise to people because they expect their vagina to be straight up-and-down.

Read the instructions that come with your tampons for information about how often to change them, etc. There are also usually pictures showing how to insert the tampon - you can also find these online.

The important thing to remember is that if it is inserted all the way, you should not feel the tampon at all. If you DO, you will need to use your fingers to push it further in.

Best of luck.

well if you put the tampon in and like took the plastic cover off and then pulled the tampon out its going to hurt because it wasn't used and causes friction and stuff inside.it has to absorb stuff to be take out easily.and you may have put it in sideways some you have to get the right angle

You're probably putting it in ay the wrong angle. Your hymen won't have much to do with it [tampons are rarely big enough to break it].

So, sit down or put one of your feet up on the toilet seat. And put the tampon at a 45 degree angle leaning towards the back and put it in slowly. And if that didn't make sense, read the instructions on the box. It should feel funny at first. But you'll get use to them. If they're really uncomfortable, that means it's not fully in as it should be. And you should take that one out and start with a new one.
