1 . Wet hair until damp .

2 . use gel/mousse , whatever works best for you and work it through your hair .

3 . Then you use you opposite hand for whatever side you are working on, and scrunch, with a 'milking the cow' motion . hah .

4 . i just scrunch until its dry enough for it to hold and spritz with hairspray .

hope it works !

Well, how I do it when I rarely do...
I dampen my hair. Not too wet, not too dry. Know what I mean? Then, you just take a section of hair and make a fist around it, if that makes sense. Liek you're "scrunching" it.
Products I use, Hold It! Gel, in the dark blue container. Then some hairspray, but I don't have a preference as far as which. =]

Alright so the person below me covered HOW to do it, but s/he didn't really tell you any products.

I recommend Aussie Scrunch spray. It works amazingly, and not to mention it smells so good. I always get compliments using it--like "Your hair smells awesome!" or "Your hair came out so good!"

Good luck. =)

i just use hair mousse and hair spray.
heres how you do it:

1] wet all your hair in the sink or shower, then towl dry it for a few minutes so it's not soaking wet.

2] next brush out your hair and put a cotton ball sized amount of mousse into your hands. work it through your hair to make it curly. if you feel like you need more mousse use some more. [really depends how much hair you have]

3] once it looks curly/scrunched wet, get the blow dryer and what i do is flip my head down so i can dry the inside and it gets the outside of your hair. also add in some hair spray while doing this.

4] once you feel like you dried it enough, flip it back and dry the front a little more if needed. your hair doesn't have to be completely dry, just enought so most the mousse is dried in.

5] fix it up so it looks good, if you have any bangs fix those and there you go!

hope i helped!
