You can buy condomns at the store but as for other types such as the pill you need to go to a local health clinic. You can get on the pill without your parents permission. These will not keep you from getting an STD and they may not even prevent you from getting pregnant. There is always a chance. The only sure way to know you wont get pregnant is with abstinence.

Condoms you certainly can. For the pill, you need a prescription. If you are considering this then you can try a planned parenthood in your area- www.plannedparenthood.org - that is, if you can't go to see your family dr. or you can't discuss this with your parents.

But the pill isn't always a good idea- that's why you need to consult your doctor first. And some people have side effects- moody, gain weight, etc.

And keep in mind that it won't prevent you from getting std's- only a condom can do that. So even if you DO get on the pill, a condom should still be used.

I've read on [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) that if you go to a Walk-In Clinic they can give you birth control if you're sexually active with your partner. And you don't have to tell your parents about it. I'm NOT on the pill but just check more about it on [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) that'll give you more information about it.

Depends on what kind. You can definitely get condoms at any store/supermarket. For other stuff like the pill and implants, you need to go to the doctor to get a prescription, then you go buy it from a pharmacy. This is because those methods have drugs in them that change your hormones and a doctor needs to confirm it is safe for you. But you can go ask your doctor for things like this without your parent's permission, they don't have to know if you don't want them to. And your doctor definitely won't tell them either.

At a pharmacy... and I think it has to be perscribed. Which means it's time to tell mommy and daddy.
