tough situation.
SO. My boyfriend's name is Doug. When we started dating his ex girlfriend was SO rude to me. She called me fatass, she started rumors, and she was just all around rude. They broke up two months ago, and now she wants back in his life. She added him on myspace & her message read; "I just want to try and get along."
Is it wrong for me to not want them to associate at all? I don't want her to be back in his life, I don't want them to be friends. Am I just being selfish?
I keep trying to put myself in Doug's shoes, but it's impossible.

you are definately not being selfish... i would be upset too. i guess you could start to do more thigns with doug so that you ae always in his mind. do something fun... go to kings dominion... i see alot of couples when i go there. if you talk to him about it, then things should be ok. also try to flirt more w/ him.
don't tell him that you don't want him to associate w/ her, then he will think of you to be controlling. just tell him that you don't feel comfortable about him being budddy-buddy w/ her.
just keep it short and simple. he should understand your feelings.

damm yoo I no exactly how you feel but if yur boyfriend wants to be friends with her you can't force him who to speak too I guess your just gonna have to deal with it I am and I trust him completely everytime he's with his ex girl hanging out he calls me and tells me that he's with her so that makes me trust him even more just have trust in your man even though your gonna have that gut feeling that she is trying to get baq with him just remeber that your b.f only wants to be with you and only you so don't worry everythings gonna be Ok =]

In my opinion I woudlnt want them to associate at all either, because of the way she treated you. And if she wants him back in 'her life', what exactly does she mean by that? She wants him back huh? Tell your boyfriend everything you wrote on here, and that you are TRYING to see what its like in his shoes, except its really difficult, because you care for him, and dont want to lose him to her.

Well I think you are worried you caught him on rebound and if he gets along she will win him back
but that is not completly it.
u are a little jealous it seems.
But if she is only wanting to get along and you let her, she will stop rumors.
