I've been with my boyfriend for over a year.. but when i call another guy i talk to, my heart absolutely pounds out of my chest! and i get really nervous! why is this?

well, just because it's been a year doesn't mean you still can't breaa up w/ him. obviously, you like this other guy. so, breakup w/ your b/f and go for the guy that make your knees shake when he enters the room(figure of speech). he would be the right guy for you.

There are a few reasons why this could be happening.
You like him.
You don't want your boyfriend to know your calling him, and your nervous.
Your just shy.
There's not really a complete answer for this, because it could be either of the three. Think about it.

if you like the person you are talking to then thats the reason your heart pounds which means you feel guilty of talking or flirting with another boy you likebut if you dont like the boy you were talkin to or are not flirting with him there's no reason you feel that way.

well, when you talk to another guy & your heart pounds out of your chest & you get REALLY REALLY nervous .. that's a sign of you having feelings for the guy that you talk to on the phone. maybe because lately your boyfriend hasn't been treating you like you deserve & you have been drifting away for someone else. & it's completely normal to fall for someone else while you're in a relationship. good luck sweetheart :]

There's no ultimate, surefire way to know for sure. Maybe you want to be friends with him. Maybe you like him. Maybe you just get nervous around boys you aren't used to. There's no way for anyone on this site to know for sure.
