All of Jane Austins books are from the early 1800's,(the 19th century). Although Pride and Prejudice was originally written in the late 1700's, it was rewritten 1811-12 and published 1813. The other 5 books were also written between 1811-1817, the last being Persuasion, which was published after her death in 1817 at the age of 41. This time was known as the Regency Era.

They are in the 1800s, but that would be the 19th century. Centuries are one more than you'd think because year 0 was in the first century, 100 was in second century, etc.

I believe they are from the early 1800's, making that the 18th/19th century.
