My dog ran away tonight he's just four months old. My family and I have looked high and low for him. I need to know if dogs can remember where they live he's only been to our new house for a day now... (just moved in)
1) any ideas on what i should do?
2) where can i get a dog whistle?

I was so worried he was so small and we'd just gotten him that day, i felt so awful. I was about to throw in the towel, i thought i'd searched everywhere. I went around our neighrborhood once more, i heard a soft whimpering at the construction site of a house at the end of our street, i saw my puppy laying down he had gotten caught in a pile of wood, i guess what i'm trying to say is sometimes the things you are looking for are closer than you think, and don't give up [ TalkToMeDahling's advice column | Ask TalkToMeDahling A Question ]

I'm not sure if you live in a neighborhood, but, hang signs with your dogs picture and his name, your phone number, where you live. Ask your parents what to put and hang them around your town. Depending if you live in a rural or city area. Also, at places where people go, like the pharmacy, or places where people take their pets, like the veterinarian, kennel, or petco/petsmart. Just regular pet stores.
You can get dog whistles at any animal store that has dog food & treats, and what not.
