I have a job interview comming up, and I have a conert on a day I would have to work. Should I bring it up during the interview? And would they not hire me because of that? I was just going to say I had out of town business...
Once you are hired, then you can mention the
concert. Just tell them that you have a
concert on ___ and that is the only scheduling
problem you have. They will understand it isn't
something you can get out of.

Tell them that it was planned a while ago/before you knew the job schedule and that you would appreciate if they let you off that day. Also let them know that it would be a one time only thing and that you would be careful not to plan things that take place during work.

ANYWAY! Just tell them at the interview if they hire you that you had previous engagements for such and such date but are able to work the day before and the day after. As long as they haven't set a schedule for you then you should be fine. [ xXxpinky615xXx's advice column | Ask xXxpinky615xXx A Question ]
