Hunger

Question Posted Sunday July 15 2007, 9:27 pm

What are you supposed to eat when you're hungry?? I usually eat 3 meals, but they most likely are light. Lately they haven't been because there has been parties, but I'm going back to my diet tomorrow. If my dinner is at 4 or 5, by 9 pm I'm hungry. Do I hold myself off until breakfast or eat something small?? I thought it might be a bad idea to wait for breakfast because it would've been 12+ hours without eating. I usually eat grahm crackers when I feel hungry. Is that okay or should I be eating something else?? I rather not eat fruit at night because I have that during the day sometimes. Thanks!!

superstarblue is right...eating 5 small meals a day, with atleast 2 small snacks in the day is much healther. And not eating that much, makes you gain weight because your body goes to the stores fat in your body and eats in.

And don't eat past 7 or 8, it makes your body hard to digest(sp) those food cause you're about to go to sleep.

I read the book called The Cure, and it said to eat small light things in the morning, like eggs, bacon, fruit, things like that because it is easier on the body. And during lunch eat protein, like chicken. And at dinner, eat carbs.

And when you eat, atleast have 3 things from the food priamid(sp). Like carbs, fruit, veggies. Or something like that.

But if at night you get really really hungry, eat something small, like bite size snacks. Nothing that will fill you up
Hoped I helped, and I wish you luck!

truth be told you're going about this whole small portioned dieting thing completely wrong...if you really want to see results eat 5 smaller portioned meals a day...anything you want...it helps keep your appetite down and will help even more with weight loss...doing that instead of 3 smaller portioned meals a day is not only healthier but it will actually help you see results faster..I do it and I don't find myself hungry all the time...just make sure you space out your meals by 4 or 5 hours

*EDIT*
not exactly sure how I got a 2...I lost 25 lbs in a month and a half by doing it that way...celebrities even do it that way...its healthier...I'm sorry that your more into starving yourself for 12 hours or better...starvation has been proved to cause bloating and make you look fatter...but hey...it's not my life...but don't ask for advice if you can't take it
