OhMyPEACHYKEEN answered Thursday July 12 2007, 11:05 pm: Go around, like at lunch and pen and paper, start a petition for talent shows. A lot of people might want what you want. Then if you think you have enough people signed then bring it to the principal and let him think about it. [ OhMyPEACHYKEEN's advice column | Ask OhMyPEACHYKEEN A Question ]

Write a letter to him, telling all the reasons you would think a Talent Show would be beneficial to your school- like it would allow students to express themselves. Stuff like that. You could meet in person- but as your principal is probably a really busy person, writing the letter would be best, as it is set in stone, and isn't going anywhere, unless of course he/she throws it out, of course.
If you're writing this letter, make sure it is official. The more official, the better. I have answered questions in the past about writing a letter to principals to get programs/sports at their school.. here is the link to one of them: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
