That sometimes happens to me, and my mom always told me to drink milk before bed cause it can make you feel drousy. Or you could read yourself to sleep.
hope i helped, good luck :]

Change your sleeping pattern and lifestyle a little bit.

Go to bed at 8 pm.

Or you can also take tylenol sleeping pills. They aren't too pricey.

Ok, there can be many reason why. 1) Make sure you are relaxed and comfortable. You should have a comfortable temperature in your room or turn on a fan. Do something that relaxes you. read a book. 2) If you have a lot on your mind, then it will be harder. Try to not focus on the bad and instead focus on something good. Also, try picturing a relaxing scenery, like a sunset. 3) You might not be using all your energy during the day. So try to be active or try excersing more, just not too close to bedtime. 4)Try to go to bed at a regular time so the body will get used to a time and you will be sleepy around that time. 5)Try to advoid caffiene after 4 PM.

Good luck!

Really...many people suffer from your problem.
And most people I know do to.
It is all because you have some energy that you dont spend. Lets not forget that human is also part of the animal kingdom. It could help you so much if you started running or working out.
It will help you sleep easily.
Also helps when you are having a tough time, when something is bothering you like a break up or something.

MAK answered Wednesday July 11 2007, 12:33 pm:
Make sure you room isn't stuffy, too hot, or too cold. Sleep in the complete dark, or if your scared of it, open your door, or use a nightlight if you have one. Don't use the computer or watch tv before bed, it helps keep you awake. The best thing to do is to read a book, or take a hot bath.

If you find that you are still lying asleep for hours, try studying history, or math; something boring.

Have regular bed schedules. For example, go to bed at ten everyday, and set your alarm clock to seven. It doesn't really matter what time, as long as its the same everyday and its nine hours.

If nothing helps, go tell your doctor. This seems a bit extreme, and I'm sure the doctor will prescribe some sort of pill to help you sleep.

I have this clock that has 'sound soothers' on it. You press a button and it plays the sounds of the ocean, rain, wind, etc. It really helps.
Or try listening to soft, calming music before trying to fall asleep.
Also, don't eat or drink anything an hour before going to bed. Your body's still digesting, and it might sometimes keep you awake.
Another suggestion is a sleep mask. I've never personally tried one, but my friend did and it helped her.
Make sure your sleep routine is regular, too. Fall into a pattern. This way, your body knows when it's time to start relaxing and getting ready for sleep.
Use any of these tips along with a comfy pillow, and you should get a good night's sleep.
I hope this helps!

<3 Laura.
