Synyster_Phrase answered Friday July 13 2007, 6:51 am: blood tests are always accurate because they cant give contaminated blood away to a person in need and who is sick because it could kill them. in any case, if your parents have any STDs when they had you, then you might have them, but i doubt they did, but i'm not one to say. if you really feel the need to have sex with your boyfriend, then use a condom. anyone can say they don't have anything wrong with them, it's just the matter of could it be true. i hope that helped :) [ Synyster_Phrase's advice column | Ask Synyster_Phrase A Question ]
lovemusiclifeme answered Wednesday July 11 2007, 1:51 am: Dear STDs,
You still could be at a risk, but not a very high one. Herpes simplex 1 is what im thinking, which means that you have had a coldsore before. But if you are not sure, and want to take that next step. Make an appointment at planned parenthood and get tested.
You should be fine darling!

orphans answered Wednesday July 11 2007, 1:05 am: Most likely not, unless your parent's or his have an STDs which could have been passed down to you. Use a condom just to be safe. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
Cux answered Wednesday July 11 2007, 1:04 am: Yes, because STDs can be passed onto offspring, so if your either of your parents had one, you could have gotten it. And everyone is at risk for getting them. If you're going to have sex, use a condom to prevent the transfer of STDs..
I'm not sure if your question was can either of you have STDs now, or are you able to get them?
