i have been on birth control for two months now. i am on my second "rouund" now and I missed 2-3 days of taking the pill. My bf and I had a close call when we were fooling around and we think theres a small but scary chance that i could be prego. Does anybody know how long birth control stays in your system?

Birth Control Pills work on a 24 hour basis. A single pill stays in your system for 24+ hours, thats why they need to be taken at the same time each day, to make sure you get a continuous dose of hormone. So, in essence, the day or so after you take the last active pill, it is out of your system.

I'm not sure about that. Did you take those pills as soon as you remembered? Anyway I do know birth control doesn't take FULL effect until you're on it for about 3-4 months. If you want to be sure, just take a pregnancy test. I also suggest you set a reminder on your cell phone [if you have one] to take it, or set alarm clocks or make signs around your room so you can remember. I hope this helps you. =)
