birthday sadness for him?

Question Posted Tuesday July 10 2007, 6:10 pm

Would a guy who lost their mom get sad on their* birthday? *not the mom's, the child. Just wondering, cus I thought a card might cheer them up (i just met this person and their b-day's coming up). I'll still send it, but will he be sad in the first place?

Thanks.

Well he'll probably be uspet to have his first birthday without his mom, but I don't think a card would hurt any... :)

That is really nice of you. I think you should, because it shows that you care for him. That is a really sweet idea though! Like Laura said, make it a funny card, to cheer him up!

I cant get over how nice that is, good for you!

If he just lost his mom, he'll probably still be sad. But I think a card would cheer him up. Like a bright, nice, maybe somewhat funny one. It's a nice gesture to begin with, too. It's nice because it lets him know somebody cares. So I'd do it, and give it to him, and I'd make sure I was happy and in a bright, sunny mood. =D

<3 Laura.
