Some girls have irregular periods and think it's nothing when they don't get it every month.
She may not get morning sickness.
You could be about 2 months pregnant and not realize it. You could be stressed out around that time and think that you're missing your periods or gaining some weight from pigging out.
My friend didn't know she was pregnant because she used protection and didn't think much of it. Her belly didn't get big until the 4th month.

If she isn't supposed to have her period for a little, then it's hard to uses the lack of a period as a determining factor. Also, babies are extremely tiny and a woman might not even start to show until 4 or 5 months into her pregnancy.
