MY BF HAS BAD BREATH!!!
So, my boyfriend has the WORST breath in the world!! Whenever we kiss i smell it and it is not pleasant! I NEED HELP NOW BEFORE I SEE HIM AGAIN! I really don't want to be mean and straight up tell him, but I would rather not continue this fear of being close to him! PLEASE HELP!!

next time you see him just say "hey i got these awesome new mints. try one!" then if he really loves them let them know he can keep them. another thing you could do is right before you are going to kiss put a mint in your mouth and one in his and tell him minty fresh breath turns you on or something like that, just so you dont hurt his feelings.

Mine used to have bad breath too, and I would just joke around and tell him that he had 'stinky breath' or that his 'breath smelled worse then a dog's ass' and eventually, he finally got the point. So try joking around.

You could polietly offer him a breath mint. If he declines just come straightfoward and say it. I don't think he'll mind too much. Yes, he will be slightly embarrassed, but now he'll brush his teeth.

Bad oral hygiene is actually quite common. It is normally the lack of attention to detail when cleaning in and around the teeth. Sometimes an abcess can cause bad breath as well as rotten teeth or blocked sinuses. He needs to have his teeth and mouth checked out by the dentist/oral hygienist to make sure that there is nothing nasty lurking in his mouth. As a quick fix solution, before you meet up with him buy some dental gum or breath freshening gum and offer him one at the same time as using one yourself (it should divert the embarrassment away if you chew one as well even though you may not like/want to chew). Sometimes you have to be blunt about these matters because he may not realise just how much it is affecting you. If a few hints gets you nowhere, perhaps having a chat about how much you love fresh mouths to kiss may just be enough to get him thinking. I hope this all helps.

Lol ok being a couple means that you can be honest with each other even if it hurts. Next time you see him you need to just tell him he has a slight bad breath problem..bring some strong mints with you. He'll understand. Just say "Baby..i love you but your breath stinks". He's not going to be utterly heart broken if you tell him he has bad breath, your just telling the truth.
