cartilage

Question Posted Friday June 29 2007, 5:23 pm

I want to get my cartilage pierced but I'm scared it will hurt. I already have my first and second holes done, so I'm wondering.. does getting your cartilage hurt more or less or the same than a first or second hole? And do they do it with a needle or gun? Which way hurts less? I need to know a lot. :] So if you got yours done, tell me everything about it!!

My friend just got hers done, and she said it didn't hurt so much when they did it, but it was a bit tender afterwards.
They do it with the gun I'm pretty sure.
Don't worry, it isn't that bad :]

I feels like your other piercings.
but less pain I suppose. I got my third lope piercing and that hurt more than cartilage.

You'll probably feel a burning/throbbing sensation right after. But it's not horrible. If you can, get a stud!

Because I had hoops and that was hard to sleep on! My head/ears were throbbing when I was trying to sleep. My hair always got stuck in it and created tangles..

I got my cartilage done and it didn't even hurt. It feels like your other piercings. Like that swoosh of air and then the piercing of skin. They did mine with a gun they use for first and second holes. Actually you don't even need to go to a tattoo parlor or anything like that. If you have a Claires or Icing where you live they'll do it for you I think. I'm not sure if you need a parent there though to get it done. I got it done there and they used the gun. Like I said didn't hurt at all.

Hope this helps, if you have any more questions contact me. :)
