I know cartlige piercings take around 8 weeks to fully heal.
But does anyone know if chlorine water or salt water will do damage to the healing process?

I have one and when I got it done nothing really irritated it, or the healing process. Check if you have solution or cleaner to clean the area after you go swimming. That'll make sure it doesn't get infected, which is what you have to worry about during the healing process. I don't know if you have a Claire's or Icing where you live, but if you go to one of them they have solution for newly pierced ears. If you use that it'll clean the piercing and disinfect it. (The person who did the piercing though should've recommended something to you but this is just incase he/she didn't)
