For an independent reading assignment for school, I am allowed to pick any type of book (fiction, nonfiction, autobiography, short stories, poems etc)
However, it has to be a book either written during the 1900's-1930's or the plot has to take place or deal with something that occured during the 1900's-1930's

i can't tell you the specific card, but i know CHASE mastercard offers a specific card just for teenagers/people getting their first cards.

I just got a job at McDonalds. I am required to wear slip-resistant shoes. I have a few pairs of Etnies and other various skate shoes, that say they have a slip-resistant sole. Would those work? (link)

you should be fine.. i work at applebees and i am required the same thing. no one really has them though - they type their talking about can usually be bought at PAYLESS. their called no slip no skid or something along that lines. but first i'd ask your manager is your shoes that your wearing now are fine or not. just wear them to your first day of work and see if anyone says anything. they can't really yell at you - it's your first day.

okay so i have a big problem. i was dating a guy who was 22/m and im 16/f. and i noticed on myspace some girls started commenting him. and he would comment their pics telling them that they're beautiful. and he commented my pics saying the exact same thing. i thought that was kinda weird and i told him that i didn't like ho he was telling other girls that. and i have a feeling he's with another girl. and i broke up with him. this happened 3 times but this time when i broke up with him he said that he didn't want to talk to me ever again and i was hurt. and i wanted to know that was it right that i broke up with him because he seemed like a player or was i just over reacting and got a little bit jealous? in my opinion, i would have broken up with him too. personally, i wouldn't want any boyfriend of mine going around telling other girls that they are beautiful or gorgeous. he should only be telling ME that, no one else. he can talk to girls, but he shouldn't be talking to them like that. also if i was 16 and he was 22, that would definitley not be a good sign. the fact that he never calls you first probably wasn't good either - he should want to call you and want to talk to you, not wait for you to do it first. i think you deserved better than him anyways. i think you did the right thing =]

i look so bad with my hair up too! i either wear it up in a high-ish side ponytail, not completley on the side of my head, but basically in the back on the side, so you can still see it from the front. then i pull down little pieces of hair in front of my ears, sort of like people do in formal updos, but i dont curl them. i also leave me bangs down or tuck them behind my ears so it isnt just my forehead. try not to brush the ponytail back either - if you make it looser, i think it looks better. just kind of throw your hair back and tie it up. also, if none of this works - try a messy bun on top. it might take a couple times to make it look good, but if you get it right, it looks very cute. :)

im a varsity cheerleader and we just got back from camp and it was pretty tough. we stunted alot and im a base so my wrists hurt really bad. is there any way i can protect them? or do i just need to get used to it? also what can i do for my sore arms? (link)

ah same thing has happened to me before! what i used to do is goto like, sports authority or something of that sort and buy a wrist brace, like a black one that velcroed. put it on and use it while stunting, it'll make it soo much better. if it stil hurts, use athletic tape first to wrap your wrist, and then wear the wrist brace over it.
for your sore arms - not much you can do to help them besides stretching them before stunting and taking some advil or tylenol before & after cheer.

well i`m a girl, and i personally think girl on top is much better.
when the girls on top she basically controls it, same with the boy when he is on top.
if you've never had sex before i'd suggest starting with the boy on top, it's more standard and easy for your first time.

no it won`t.
i got mine pierced two years ago at the beginning of summer & it did nothing to harm it, it didn`t hurt or sting or anything. it never got infected.
just make sure you clean it with the solution after & twist it, and you'll definitley be fine.

I am rather skinny, and I have a tiny bit in the way of a paunchy stomach (Just because I don't really look after myself, I eat what i want.)
The weird thing is though, I love when people touch my stomach (rub it, jiggle it, just like play with it), it really gets me off, (which is weird I know),so I'm not quite sure how to ask my boyfriend to it for me. I don't wanna weird him out.

My phone service is T-Mobile, but I want to get a Verizon Wireless phone.
Is there any way to keep T-Moblie but have the Verizon phone?
If so, then how much would it cost to switch phones but keep the same service, and number if possible?
And how would I do it?

well if the phone is verizon only, then no you can`t have it with t-mobile.
you see verizon doesn`t have SIM cars, which is what t-mobile uses. verizon uses a different method and they connect your number to an actual phone, while t-mobile uses the card so you can switch phones.
so depending on the type of phone and if it's verizon exclusive or not, you may or may not be able to.
if the phone is motorola - you can goto motorola.com and buy it off of there - and just get an unlocked GSM. otherwise there is no other way.
