First.. to the other person who doesn't know what a OBGYN is.. its the gynecologist. You are still a virgin until a penis enters your vagina. You can't take your own virginity. Like the others said, your cherry could be popped from various things.. tampon use, bike riding, etc. Also, if you go to the gyno, she will ask you if you've ever had sex, so she'll know anyway. Its for your own good, she won't care if your a virgin or not.

Most girls break their own hymen [cherry] before they even have sex for the first time. She won't necessarily think you had sex, there's no need to worry about it. =)

The only way to be 100% sure on whether or not a person has had sex is if there is semen found inside of the vagina. Even then you can pretty much only 99% tell because for all you know the guy jacked off, got sperm on his finger, then fingered the girl.

Honestly, they may think you've had sex, but there's no sure fire way for them to know.

Oh, and by the way, masturbation and sex aren't the only ways your hymen (cherry) will break (pop).

It can happen from riding a bike, running, doing a split, riding a horse, wearing a tampon, etc.

So just because your hymen has broken doesn't mean you've had sex.

Don't worry, your gyno won't know 100% if you're a virgin or not unless you actually tell them. Which if you aren't one you should tell them just so they can make sure you don't have any STD's. I'm not saying you aren't one (it's better if you are since you're so young), I'm just saying when you lose your virginity if you haven't already then let them know. Because of doctor/patient confidentiality they aren't supposed to inform anyone, including your parents.

A lot of girls rip their hymen before they have sex. You could fall, ride a bike, ride a horse, or just have broken it from sitting down one day. Don't worry about it; she probably won't even think twice. :)

No, you're safe. A doctor can only see that the hymen is broken (cherry is popped), however there is no way to tell that, that happened through sexual activity or masturbation because normal activities such as sports, biking, horseback riding etc can break the hymen. Without you telling the gyno there is no way for her to know.
