I guess you could classify "being attracted to a different race" as an acquired trait, therefore, it isn't genetic. If what you say is true, then there wouldn't be "pure-bred" white humans, black humans, or whatever, but there are.
So, I guess the answer is no, and if anyone told you this is true, they are obviously mistaken or trying to pull your leg.
If you want more insight on the topic, I suggest you consult a biology or science or health teacher at your school. Maybe they can help.

Up until the last few decades, the races were kept separate and any inter-mingling was definitely frowned upon. That's not just in America, but in other nations as well. We tend to be attracted to others who look like us, studies have shown. We tend to me most relaxed and confident in groups of people like us (as a society- I'm not saying all people are prejudiced).
