It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

DandKitsLOVE01 answered Monday June 25 2007, 10:01 pm: love could be either good or bad, atleast that's the way i see it. love is forever, and you'll know when you are in love. love can either pull you &' deside to keep ya' or spit you out. to me love is great, if i didn't have love for my boyfriend, and my parents and friends , i wouldnt be a happy person.
Siren_Cytherea answered Monday June 25 2007, 9:30 pm: Everyone is right about the "you'll know it when you feel it" aspect of it, but I can try to throw a few descriptive sentences at you...
For me, at least, being in love felt like a total loss of control. I felt like I was drowning in my emotions, and it seriously freaked me out. I'd never felt that way in my life, and I didn't know how to handle it. When he kissed me, my knees went weak, my world disappeared. He's the only guy I've ever actually dreamed about marrying. It was so vivid I woke up and looked at my hand to see if there was a ring on it, lol.
Love is when your emotions grow so strong your brain becomes the prisoner of your heart.
Real love doesn't go away, ever. It's what drives people to marry, to want to spend their whole lives together. Love is a connection that runs so deep words can't describe it. It is, simply, an emotion.
It's hard to describe the feeling, exactly, but you're in love with someone, you can feel it in their touch, and it's like nothing else in this world.
Being a writer makes it a little easier to try to describe love, but even then I don't know how to put what I felt - and still feel - into words.
Hope this was sort of what you were looking for.

Cux answered Monday June 25 2007, 9:18 pm: Lostbutfound is exactly right. I can't say that I've been in love, but I do love my family and friends. That is a totally different kind of love, but I'm assuming that you can't say that you love someone until you're engaged and about to be married, but as the world is today.. even that doesn't mean you love someone- if you end up getting a divorce or whatnot. I guess when you're in love, you'll know it, but I'm sure a few poems about love could try to help explain how one feels when they are in love:
A Special World
A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.
Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.
And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.

OR
If I could have just one wish,
I would wish to wake up everyday
to the sound of your breath on my neck,
the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
the touch of your fingers on my skin,
and the feel of your heart beating with mine...
Knowing that I could never find that feeling
with anyone other than you.

I hope those help explain the feelings of love. But you have to understand that this is a VERY tough question.
