Confusing crush =/
14/f.
I like this guy, on a scale of 1-10 i like him about a 7 or 8. We'll call him "ben". K, i have NO IDEA how he feels about me. I'm a terrible flirter, I'm not exactly pretty, but there was a myspace bulletin about telling the person who posted it exactly what you felt. I tried to be as honest as I could manage without absolutely embarrassing myself. So I said:
"i think you're funny, cool, cute, and i think you're musically intelligent.
uhm, i think you're absolutely amazing.
and i think you think i'm a total freak now,
and you're going to laugh at this."
So I reposted the bulletin that way he would reply, and he did :]
he said "well... i think ur...
hilarious
cute
and.....the best writer i know:]"
idk if he was saying "cute" to be nice and not make me feel bad, or if he actually thinks i'm cute?
&& when I posted a pic of my new hair color [i got pink highlights] he said "cute:]"
so i don't know if i'm just supposed to sit back & kind of let him chase me, and play hard to get, or ask him out, or at least tell him i really like him. ick, help? thanks.

i suggest it but you need to do it in a way so that he knkows your interestedd, so that he doesnt give up on trying with you
like once this guy was like talking to me on facebook and somehow pirates of the carribean got brought up and i was like yea i want to go see that and so he was liek lets go see it and i was like ok you plan because i dont make planss and so then he was like regal cinemas..7 45 show and so for 10 minutes he made plans anbout dinner and then right when he was done i said oh wait i have babysitting that night
he got pretty pissed but after that he started texting and calling me allll the time =]
and this guy was hot shit!
anywaaays dont ask him out! no offense, but you dont seem to know him too well (im just assuming aka thats why i said no offense haha) so if you ask him out he might be freaked

i dont think hes saying that to be nice, i mean he didnt have to say anything at all. maybe you should send him one back that says; "so what are you gonna do about it" or something flirty like that. and then wait to see what he says. dont push it too much because you dont want to seem to dependent, but you should definatly initiate it a little bit and let him make the move. just relax and be chill about it, let things fall into place.

Playing hard to get with someone you don't talk to or see often is kind of a risky move. He could take it as a sign that you don't like him at all if you kind of brush him off and play hot and cold.
You should just tell him that you like him and would like to get to know him better. Saying you'd like to get to know him better is kind of a non-pressuring way of asking him out. But since you're not technically asking him out, if he likes you back, he should ask you out, unless he's shy of course, and in which case you should just ask him to hang out this weekend.
