sdcutie717 answered Friday June 22 2007, 4:09 pm: well i would firstly like to say that anyone who is your height and weights 130 lbs. is NOT fat in any way shape of form. but if you want to feel better about your body, excercise daily and eat the right kind of foods. its ok to cut back a little bit if it makes you feel more confident, but cutting down to one or two meals a day is not healthy. cutting back on carbs will make you feel skinnier. but really excercising is the best way to make you feel good about yourself.
trust me, ive been there. im 5'1 (and im dont growing... yes your situation could be worse lol) and i barely weigh 100 pounds. i used to think about my weight constantly and i weighed myself probably a dozen times in a day until i got down to 92 pounds. it was not healthy, and i didnt feel any better about myself. when i started getting really into excersize and i started to notice my muscles toning up, i felt good about myself and i stopped obsessing about my weight.
i know that its hard to get into the habit of, but if you force yourself to do it for long enough, you will start craving it.
alwaysmile answered Friday June 22 2007, 3:38 pm: don't worry about the way you look. that's a healthy weight. if you're eating 500 calories or less a day, you're considered to have anorexia nervosa. i good way to maintain your weight is to eat 5 or 6 small meals a day. i'm sure you're beautiful and what people think shouldn't matter.
good luck (: [ alwaysmile's advice column | Ask alwaysmile A Question ]
chikkaxnikka answered Friday June 22 2007, 3:35 pm: i am 5ft 7 inches and 132 pounds, you are not fat, you might weigh what you weigh because its muscle, muscle weighs more than fat. it sounds like you are a good size and a good weight for your height. if you are truly upset with your weight do not stop eating, trying working out more like running on the tread mill and stuff [trust me if i didnt run, i would be so over weight with the amount of junk food i eat] just remeber people will never love you for how you look its your personality that counts=] [ chikkaxnikka's advice column | Ask chikkaxnikka A Question ]
Michele answered Friday June 22 2007, 3:32 pm: There is nothing wrong with being thin, and it certainly is important to eat healthy. Anorexia can shorten your life. It stresses out your body and you will age faster and could die young.
Look at pictures of real fat people, go to the mall, it's full of fat people, and tell yourself that you don't look like that. Do you have an old pair of pants that fit you when you were heavier, put them on once in a while, see how big they are. (That worked for me after I lost 38 lbs, and still thought I was fat) What dress size do you wear? If it is an 8 or smaller, you are not considered fat by dress designers, that's for sure. Know what foods are healthy and which are fattening, so you can eat without guilt. Fruits and vegetables are best, without cheese and creamy dressings or whipped cream. Whole grain breads and lean meats like chicken and turkey. No fried foods. Get exercise, it's OK to be skinny, but it is better to have muscles. That's sexy.
