ok i want to re-do this question.. if thats ok with you.
I'm currently using Fructis sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner and I don't know why but I don't want to use it anymore. I want a change. Before, I asked you what brands you think are best. Well after reading some of the answers, i did research and changed my minds on some of them.
Pantene IS bad for your hair because they put chemicals in there, and after you use it awhile, your hair starts to turn bad.
Suave is NOT good because it dries out your hair and is cheap
Herbal Essences- Doesn't really do much except make your hair smell nice.
sooo that leaves me hanging by Dove and Sunsilk.
I NEED HELP! if you think that any of the information i've given is wrong, then please explain to me! I don't know why i've become so interested in shampoos but I really want to know what brand is healthy for you and what brands are not.
Any other brands that you want to tell me about that you think work great.
All i'm looking for is something that can make my hair less frizzy, smooth, shiney, soft and great smell.
my hair is straight but sometimes it can be a little wavy, it's allways frizzy.

Pantene is NOT bad for your hair. I've been using it for forever and a little longer and my hair is perfectly healthy. I just recently went to get my hair cut (recent=a few days ago) and if something was wrong with my hair, my hairdresser would not be afraid to tell me and he didn't say a WORD about my hair so I'm 99.9% Pantene has done nothing to it. Now if you still don't believe me use Thermasilk, it makes your hair smooth and gets rid of some of the frizz. I've never tried Dove or Sunsilk so I have no advice for you on those. CheRrYToP_x3 answered Friday June 22 2007, 11:47 am: hey i have the same type of hair as you. Mine is frizzy but still straight. Okay well just try to buy a new type of shampoo everytime you go to the store. Once your hair gets used to soemthing... than it just drys it out. Right now im using pantene... and i no that its bad but it works soooo good. like i get the sleek and shine or whatever its called... but i just leave it on my hair for about 3 minutes... and it is so soft and not greasy at all. ALSO although suave is cheap and it does dry outyour hair, try sauve professional..its like salon hair shampoo only cheaperr!... or.. you could go to the walmart salon... and get some REAL professional shampoo which is alot cheaper at walmart lol. hope to help! StellarSteph answered Friday June 22 2007, 2:28 am: my hair is like that too, Dove shampoo is really good. i use the one that says "deeply moisturizes as well as nexus" at the bottom along with "for dry or damaged hair". also, if you want your hair to be smooth get Biosilk, Silk Therapy. i got it at Fantastic Sam's but i'm sure other hair places sell it too. its like 13 dollars for the small bottle but i'm not sure of the price for the big bottle. it works great though [ StellarSteph's advice column | Ask StellarSteph A Question ]
spankymayaz answered Friday June 22 2007, 1:13 am: well i know this is probably not the answer you want to hear, but it's kinda spendy, but i use biolage, its expensive, and it unfrizzes your hair, it moisterizes it, and it leaves a silky coating on your hair, so if you straighten it, you will only straighten the coating, so it doesn't damage your hair, so it does not get your hair damgaged. and it leaves it smelling good. nonamecat answered Friday June 22 2007, 12:48 am: Well dear, in all truth they are all bad for your hair. Every last one has added chemicals and the big no no, alcohol. I order my hair care products from melaleuca at melaleuca.com [ nonamecat's advice column | Ask nonamecat A Question ]
xokristabelle answered Friday June 22 2007, 12:44 am: John Frieda's color lines for brunettes, blonde, and redheads are great.
I think I already told you, but Bath and Body Works is great too.
leLovely answered Friday June 22 2007, 12:15 am: Like the person below me said, I always mix up my shampoos. I love Dove and Sunsilk, so I recommend them. Dove makes my hair really smooth and soft, and I love the smell of it. Sunsilk has a lot of different products for whatever you're looking for, like if you want less frizzy hair, straighter hair, etc. They all smell good too. If you want something to use to help with your frizz/flatten out your poof a bit, I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum; you can get it at SuperCuts.
Cmilner1607 answered Friday June 22 2007, 12:05 am: I like to rotate my shampoos. Change it up. and my hair is very healthy. But if I had to choose a fave it'd be Dove. Or ,John Frieda for brunettes. they have them for blondes and redheads too} [ Cmilner1607's advice column | Ask Cmilner1607 A Question ]
