how expensive is it to get a paint job for your car?

well it really depends on what you want done...

so here's a crazy idea for you.
get up, go to the palce
and ask them yourselves
cause I really don't think that 14 year olds know much about cars & paintjobs to tell you the truth.

depends on whether the job is a factory paint or custom job. custom jobs will get very very expensive. and to put it into perspective some of the more expensive paint (for mercedes and things like that) cost around 20 bucks an ounce for paint. the fact is that paint isn't cheap, and even if you find a place that'll paint it for the cost of paint only you'll still be paying out the ass.

Well, it depends on where you have it done and how much they charge for labor. Also, it depends on the color, considering certain colors are $100+ per gallon.

I would say as a ball park guess at least $2000. But your best bet would be to ask around at your local auto body shops for a more accurate estimate.
