Several were mentioned below, and I do not have a personal favorite, although I currently use the l'oreal straightenning cream. I just wanted to provide you with another thought which is, when you straighten your hair too frequently, you cause alot of damage. It dehydrates your hair leaving your follicles thinner and more susceptible to breaking. Maybe your hair flicks after being straightenned because it is dried out, in which case you would want to deep condition it. Hope I helped! [ duzzie19's advice column | Ask duzzie19 A Question ]

ashlynn answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 7:40 pm: My hair did the same thing.
Smooth this product through wet hair. After you straighten your hair lighten smooth some of the product over the top of your hair. I apply it once more in the middle of the day. It keeps my hair straight, shiny, and frizz free all day.
I hope this works for you.
EDIT: I don't know what you have in Australia as far as stores. But you should be able to find it easily. Try drugstores or where ever you'd buy hair products and make up. [ ashlynn's advice column | Ask ashlynn A Question ]
Maddieeeee answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 7:32 pm: OK. straighten your hair, take a dime size amount of regular hand lotion in your hand and rub it in to your palms, then take your hands and lightly run your fingers through your hair. Don't put a whole lot in otherwise you'll come out with gunky hair. This helps smooth fly aways. [ Maddieeeee's advice column | Ask Maddieeeee A Question ]
