Question Posted Wednesday June 20 2007, 10:51 am

My face is ALWAYS red. My dermatalogist said I don't have rosatia. And it's not the sun either. What can I do to get rid of the redness?! :[

Another great product that is supposed to calm the skin, is Plantidote by Origins. It is not cheap, cost about $65 to $75 dollars. But I have had good results with it. I am an esthetician, so I am familliar with many products, and while I can't see you, I know that this product works not only on rosacea, it also works on redness and inflammation for other reasons too. Good luck. I hope you find the solution.

I'd suggest checking to see if you have Keratosis Pilaris Rubra Faceii.

I have this, although you can't tell in my picture as I was wearing makeup, but it's affected me my whole life. If this is the case, I can't tell you exactly how to fix this, but be gentle to your skin! Try a gentle cleanser such as Aveeno's soothing cleansers with feverfew. They have many products with the soothing and calming feverfew.

If you haven't try proactive. My face was red around my cheeks and my forehead.
