theres this kid that i have liked for a very long time. well at the beginning of the year he found otu i liked him, and he said the most hurtful thing about me, in front of my 2 bestfriends. now they obviously told me. and when they did i confronted him and i was flipping out. now me and him have been friends for a very long time. and i dont want to loose him as a friend. but what he said was extremely hurtful and made me feel like i was nothing. well the day after he told me how sorry he was and that if he didnt mean it then he wouldn't have said it. so i guess he meant what he said. and that made me seriously cry for about a week, because it hurt so much. I talk to him now, with him knowing i like him. and he's all cool with that we are jut friends. i just dont know if i did the right thing by talking to him again. Because he hurt me so bad and made me feel ugly, feel like a nothing and i could never be pretty. i guess im just wondering if by me maknig the choice of talking to him again was the right choice?

Only you can feel if it's the right choice or not.
I think everyone deserves second chances, but it's all depending on what was really said or done.

Like my friend that I liked for a long time knew I liked him and he misled me to believing he liked me too, he told me he did. Then a week later, me and him were supposed to hang out at the mall but he invited his girlfriend and was making out with her in front of me the whole time.

I didn't forgive him because I was hurt that he lied to me and falsely misled me just to hurt me.

Q: I live down south, its so hard to keep my hair straight! The ends always curl up after two hours, I use a CHI, anti-humidity cream, and hairspray but nothing works! Does anyone know how I can keep it straight longer? Thanks!

I shower at night before I go to bed blow dry my hair and then I spray the stuff in my hair that keeps it from burning cause I straighten my hair.

I straighten my hair before bed, and then sleep on it. Then when I wake up and go to school it doesn't get all poofy cause of humidity.

like i go my period and everything, but it was different than normal. i'm not spotting but like, my period is just DIFFERENT.

I think the only way you can actually tell if you went to your doctor and asked.

As for your boyfriend, tell him when you find out for sure if you were, if not just warn him that you may need to be more careful when you have sex.

Second, if your parents don't like him why can't you respect the fact that they don't like him for your better and not theirs? They're not the ones who are going to date him, you are.

Third, if he did irresponsible and stupid things with a girl when he was 12, it should give you the feeling that he's probably not the yummiest fish in the sea.

Oh and I should probably tell you this, part of being a guy and having girl friends (IN MY OPINION) is flirting with them. Hense the kisses and, "I don't know what I'd do without you"

And if he said, "HAHA nice clevage" it apparently meant nothing with the "HAHA"

I think you should just move onto better things, who knows you may end up feeling a lot safer in another guy's hands.

Q: my actual computer is broken right now, so im using my moms. and she wont let me download anything on the computer. for my guitar lesson, i need to somehow listen to landslide by fleetwood mac because thats the song have to learn this week. but the problem is, my mom doesnt have any music software on her computer, so i cant download the song. ive checked on myspace and purevolume, but the song isnt on there. is there anywhere i can listen to the song without downloading it or buying anything?

Q: This morning I haven't been very hungry. I could live without any food today due to it. I haven't thrown up yet. I normally am eating food like a wild person but I haven't. Yesteday, I was full from the hamburger I ate. I normally can eat a little snack after my meal (two hours later). However, I couldn.t I have a great metabolism so I tend to eat a lot of food and stil stay thin.

My question is, is there something wrong? I'm worried!

You shouldn't really be worried until you start throwing up after just about everything you put in your mouth even if it's a grape o.O (my problem).

Your body seems to be adjusting to a new appetite and until it finds what's working for it, you'll have the feeling of not being hungry. I would still eat though just to keep myself on the safe side if I were you.

Q: ok so im in a friends with benefits relationship with my best guy friend. he and his ex broke up 3 months ago, she broke up with him. ok so we really haven't done much, i gave him a hj. we've been best friends for 2 years, its not like i just met him yesterday and im screwing him and 5 other guys, its just him and i trust him a lot, he's my first guy i've done sexual things with. anyways, i told my best friend and only my best friend what i did with him. about 2 and a half months ago he felt me up and i told somebody else, (not my best friend), who i trusted, turns out she told everyone and they all thought i lied about it but now they know i'm not lying because my best friend told them that i gave him a hj to defend me from their rumors. i forgive her for telling them because she was defending me but me and the guy wanted to keep the relationship a secret. ok so despite that they broke up, my guy and his ex are still friends and she still has him whipped!! ok so she found out what we're doing and now she's mad at both of us and shes calling me a slut and telling everyone that'll listen what i did. i dont know why she cares, she gave him up, so she should let him go, its almost been 4 months since they've been apart. me and the guy are on a break now until the drama settles. how do i tell his ex to back off, he's too scared of her to say anything. truly it's none of her business and she should just get over it. what do i do about her?

I think you should tell her that you're aware that she's lying to you and when she cries wolf a time too many nobody is going to believe a word that comes out of her mouth. It's pretty obvious not a days who's lying and who's not. It's one thing to lie about a small situation but it's another thing to lie about something bigger. You just need to confront her on your own and let her know that the chances of you believing what she says again are slight to none.

It all depends on where you're working. If you're trying to get a job they wont hire you just to bag, you'd be cleaning too and stuff like that. Just go into your local grocery store and ask, in Missouri it's 16 I believe.

Hey everyone I just had a few questions about fashion.... Well everyone is telling us at this age to be yourself and all that. Well, last year {8th grade) I did just that. I was pretty happy with it. As far as fashion goes, I mostly wore t-shirts and jeans. you know, the kind of tshirts you get from sports teams or from school events. One problem is, you can't get those ANYWHERE but from things that you join and teams that you are on. Like you can't buy them from a store. I have this really small comfort zone and t-shirts are all that I will wear. I am not exactly sure why but I wont touch tight fitting shirts or baby doll type spaghetti straps, skirts or dresses. I wear makeup, but usually no jewelry. Actually, I do
sort of know why I dont wear these. A few years ago, (7 grade) I had a run in with the really popular girls. This was a time when i didnt have a good group of friends yet, I had a lot of friends from home but they went to different schools or they were in different grades. So anyways i was kind of starving for popularity, like most girls this age are, and i befriended this girl Katie. She is VERY popular, predjudiced,and basically doesnt like anyone who doesnt wear hollister or abercrombie. So I joined the club. I got into hollister and all that stuff and was mean to people that didnt wear it. Note- I feel absolutely HORRIBLE about this now and have gone back and apoligized for how stupid I acted. Anyways. While I was friends with Katie, I realized how mean some of these girl are. I dont know about your school, but they are Horrible. So at the end of that year She and I broke up our friendship because she was calling me names all the time and then she started acting REALLY mean to me. When I talking to the girls I had gotten to know through her, they completely ignored me too. So basically, that is why Im not comfortable wearing those kind of clothes. I dont want to look or act or have ANYTHING to do with them. two years ago I came home crying every day. last year, after my style change, i came home with friends and I was happy and everything was good. (even though some of my friends wish I was a little more GIRLY) I am actually really athletic. Okay anyways. Here is the problem. AM I NORMAL? I want to be more feminine. I dont really feel girly. I mean I look nice enough, I dont look like a slob, but lets just say Im not on top of the latest fashion. Its not comfortable for me and I just feel more comfortable in tshirts. I also really need some other clothing options badly. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!? no offense but for some reason I got it in my head that everyone associates that type of hollister/abercrombie clothing with being snotty and rude and rich and spoiled. Like if i met a kid wearing rags and smelled I would probably side with him over a girl that was wearing this kind of stuff. I have had a very bad experiance with these type of people and need to get over it. In the meantime, I need some help... PLEASE!!!

I wear band t shirts, they're not big or anything. I mean, I'm a small girl (Wear size 0 pants) and I wear skinny jeans (I'm not emo), band t shirts (usually colorful. I also have lots of flats (shoes). I wear pearls with just about everything, it doesn't really come of my neck. I cannot stand wearing earings, they bug my ears but it would be nice to buy some cute (not long or anything) earings. Also, the only make up I wear is blush and eyeliner, not a lot of blush though, maybe this would work for you?

Do you really care what either of them looks like?

Make a list of good and bad of both girls, which one has the most good stuff is the one to be picked I guess. Don't pick 1 over the other because you think one of them is prettier then the other. I'm sure both girls are great. I'd say just go with the one that draws you more to her, the one that makes you smile the most, the one that has the most in common with you, and of course the one you can spend time with and be yourself around.

They'll be plenty of times for you to like/love someone. Don't let yourself get hung up on 1 guy even though you "think" you love him, I'm pretty sure it's just a big crush. He may have liked you but if it didn't happen, it wasn't meant to.
