okay people tells me secrets and stuff but at the same time they question me if they can trust me because i dont tell anything that much or tell them a secret why is that?
kaylasaysso answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 3:03 pm: that doesn't make any sense at all. you actually do sound pretty trust worthy because you DONT tell secrets to people you just keep them. usually people who gossip to you will gossip about you. & if they are willing to tell other peoples secrets to you they are most likely telling your secrets to other people, so these people aren't making too much sense in my oppinion :) [ kaylasaysso's advice column | Ask kaylasaysso A Question ]
imxkathleenx3 answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 3:01 pm: Hey. Well, everyone does this. Maybe they feel less safe telling you secrets becuase you don't tell them any. I mean, maybe I'm just a bad person, but I feel safer when telling someone a deep secret, if I know that they have told me one. That way, if they were to ever use it against you, they have something on you, also.
So, maybe you could try telling your friends minor secrets like "last night, my dad didn't know I went to the mall with you, and I borrowed $5.00 from him without him asking." Or, you know, something minor like that, before you get to telling them secrets that are really important.
Just know, everyone has this problem, it's not that you aren't trustworthy, it's that your friends are smart, and cautious.
