braces
i just got braces and they look really ugly..is there anything i can do to make them look less ugly or less noticeable and what band color should i get? just colors that i like or is there certain colors that look bad/good on diffent ppls teeth?

Aviod wearing bright lip gloss. The color would attract more attention to your mouth. When wearing make up focus on your eyes.
Silver is your best bet for band color. It blends in more. NEVER GET CLEAR. Because once you eat something like spagetti it will look like that until you get your colors changed again.

stick with silver bands. they are much less noticable then when you have colors in. colors stand out and make people notice your braces.

The best thing to do is just get silver bands so your braces won't stand out.
Or if you want colors, pick a really light pink or something.
Avoid clear or white bands because they turn yellowish and will make your teeth look yellow.

Ummm the best I can tell you is to pick silver bands. For me, that made them less noticeable, i guess becuse it matched the wire?? I don't know, but it seemed to work. I wouldn't try "tooth" colored, though. It looks kinda weird sometimes=/. Other than that, i don't know what else you can do because you're pretty much stuck with them for the next like 2 years and you can't change much about them, but TrusT me, you'll get used to them in a few weeks and they shouldn't look as bad by then. Don't get white because they look dirty after a while. Green and yellow typically look like you have food stuck in your teeth too, so stay away from those. Other than that, have fun.
