Post-Pool problems

Question Posted Saturday June 16 2007, 6:37 pm

After I go swimming my hair is just a mess. Its past my shoulders and naturally wavy. After I go swimming, my friends and I usually meet up with people and go out so I'm always going out and my hair looks terrible. I have side bangs, so they curl up and look funny as well, so just putting my hair up in a ponytail never works.

Does anyone know any products or tricks I can use to somehow make my hair look presentable after swimming in a pool without washing my hair first? Thank you [:

When you get out of the pool, brush your hair so that it isn't extremely tangly, and then put your hair up into a bun. Make sure that the bun isn't super loose. When you're getting ready to go out, take down your hair. Use bobby pins to pin back your bangs so that they don't look crazy, or use a headband. If you want, when your hair is still wet, put some gel in it so that it holds the waves a little better.

before you go to the pool, if you know anyone that can french braid; get them to double french braid your hair. it doesnt come out when you swim and after it dries and you take it out your hair looks awesome! you could also bring some conditioner with you to the pool and when your done swimming; put some in your hair, brush it out, and put your hair in a cute messy bun (great summer look). another option is to bring some gel or mousse to the pool and when your done swimming and your hair is wet, scrunch your hair a little to make it look messy but cute. hope you like and good luck!

Use Aussie products. Gel/moose and hairspray.
It works wonders.
SO yeh. Just scrunch it.

Get some hair clips. Brush your hair back & leave your bangs out. Clip your bangs back with the clip & go. It's easy. =)

ok so i have the same problem ,

one thing you can do is get some mousse, and just dry up your hair a bit, with a towel or something and apply it, and kinda just crunch your hair.

its easy, and it looks pretty cute.
