I heard its not good to go tanning in a booth when you have a bellybutton ring...why is that??

I'm not positive. I know that it does leave a tanline, because my friend has a circle right underneath her bellybutton from her ring. Haha. It might be from the metal getting too hot, like the person below me said.

The metal could maybe be very hot after?
Or it could burn you?
The only other thing I could think of is that it would leave a tan line.
But I am not sure, I couldn't find anything on google about it, so chances are its not even true.
Your best bet would be to talk to someone at a tanning booth. They'll know for sure.
