You know that movie elizabethtownn? and claire's bright orange/red messanger bag?! well, were can i find one of those lovely bags? any sites you might think have things similar to it,anything. thankss.
I am totally obsessed now with finding an orange bag like the one Clare carries in the movie. You can see part of it in the still pic from when they are in the graveyard. I cannot find one anywhere if anybody could help!!!
julian mcdonald designed an orange bag for his collection for debenhams... i think it's leather tho... so maybe it's not the same but it's still nice... you could try the website- debenhams.com... good luck with the hunt!!!
Listen....I saw a decently similar one at Old Navy this weekend. Checked on the website, it's not there, I saw 4 of them...if you want to check your store...see if they can get it....I saw it at Old Navy in Irvnig Mall, Texas 75038. :-) If you want to email me, maybe I can help you out...get a picture.....get it for you...if you have paypal...we can work it out! :-)

Ok. I am glad I am not the only costume watcher. I LOVE the bag Kirsten Dunst uses in Elizabethtown. If anyone knows where I can find one. Please let me know.
Cheers!

I also am in love with the orange bag.. have you found out what brand it is or anything?
It is a fossil bag. But apparently there is no style number. I got ahold of the guy who bought the actual bag Kirsten used in the movie. He paid 400+ from Premier props. I actually contacted them and have a list picture of it.
But he looked inside and there is no style tag. I am still hunting. I contacted Fossil headquarters and they can't even find it.
IT"S MADDENING!!!!!! LOL
I know it's out there. And it probably was from last fall. People at fossil stores say they remember selling it around june-August 2005.
Let me know what you find. It may have been a California only bag. So I am having my friend in LA keep an eye out.
Keep me in mind and I will do the same for you. ;)
Cheers,
Toni
Toni, I saw a message from you on the Red Hat thread, and was wondering, where the heck did you get the shirt she wore? You're talking about the awesome brown one that has that white hand grabbing the white light, and have LOW in big letters at the top. I can't read any of the other stuff.
Where did you get it?? Please, let me know. I'm dying to own one for myself. =)
Well here is the thing about me. When I really want something I SEARCH! I blew the picture up and was able to read the entire shirt. my friends say I should be a detective. LOL! here is the link. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
It was a cheap shirt too. It's totally cozy. Just wash it a few times.
Sorry this took me so long. I have not read the bords in a while. I am actually working with a fossil reagenal manager to track down the bag. So hopefully I will be back with a post on that as well. (fingers crossed)
Take care!

Here is an update. I was recently on a trip to LA to visit a friend. Anyway I popped into the Universal studios Fossil store. And the district manager has joind the quest for this bag.
She found out that it was from the "Mesquito" line. In the Fossil forevers line. It was out 3 years ago. And to her knowlege there are none left in outlet stores or the warehouse. The general public owns all bags.
I am continuing the search. If anyone finds anything else please let me know.
Cheers & Good luck!

Update to the Update. The line is actually the Mesquito coast line. And the style number is ZB3569600. there atre NONE left in stores. I have listed a want add through craigs list here in the Seattle area. If anything comes up from that I will post it.
Good luck!
