hey :)

Aww the poor bunny, I breed bunnies. Okay feed it romaine lettuce or the mixed kind. No iceburg lettuce or celery because it is too watery and it will make them sick and they will have the runs. They love all vegetables. You may want to try bunny food. They LOVE timothy hay. No alfalfa! Trust me on this I am an expert on bunnies. You may want to take it to the vet and see what hey say. When it gets older give it water through a bowl. Milk in a bottle for now. DO NOT release it back into the wild or it will die. No only because of its back legs but because once touched by a human it will not be accepted. Besides this bunny relies on you to feed it and take care of it now. It will not know what to do if it is in the wild. I suggest you find a wildlife conservation to care for it or you could. Give it lots of love. I rescued a baby squirrel that fell out of its nest and lost an eye. I had it for a while until one day I went out there and it got so excited to see me that he had a heart attack and died :( Take very good care. If you need any more help please message me. Also please keep me up to date on the bunny and how it is doing. Thank you!

Sincerely, Baylee

I have a bunny. And he loves all kinds of vetables. But, dont give it fruit. fruit is to sweet. But, whatever you do do not take it to the vet because they might think that he is to hurt and he has to be put down. so keep it at your house for now. Unless it gets really bad. tell me what happens!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that you should take the bunny to a vet. Tell them you found it, and maybe they won't charge you for the care. Bunnies are usually very fast. It could be that the bunny's legs were paralysed before your dog got to it, and that is how it got caught by your do. If the bunny is eating that is a good sign, and if it is eating a lot of lettuce, then it is getting water from the lettuce. They also like clover, which may be growing in your yard.
See if there is an animal rescue league in your town/city. They will help.

Give it some dry baby food that you can purchase from the pet shop. Give it some greens like cabbages and carrots since it's not drinking water. It doesn't drink because it hasn't been fed properly. Once it is eating properly, it will drink.

Gently pat it's head. Bunnies like their heads to be stroked. Try to do that often cos your dog might have given it quite a bad scare.

But still, I really think you should bring the poor bunny to the vet and see what they can do bout it's paralysed leg. Poor bunny.

I think you should take the bunny to the vet immediately. The most anyone on this website is going to be able to do is give you a guess - possibly an educated guess, but still a guess. That bunny is most likely in pain and needs treatment from an expert ASAP. Even if they put the bunny down, that's better than it suffering needlessly. I'm sorry I can't be anymore help, but I'm urging you to take the animal to get the help it needs. Please keep in touch and update me on the situation.
