Question Posted Friday June 8 2007, 10:58 pm

So today i had sex
I was on my period but my period stops for hours at a time, and sometimes even for a day.
It was stopped for a while, and i had sex during that time [with a condom].
I saw all the cum in the condom, but im scared that some got out.
There weren't any hols in the condom, Am i just being paranoid?
Or should I be worried?

The only way you can get pregnant is if the condom you used broke or had a hole in it. You probably learned this in seventh grade. If you didn't feel anything enter through you, and the condom didn't break at all, then you're most likely not pregnant. Watch your period for a while, and note any strange side effects. Also, next time, wait to have sex until you're sure nothing can happen, or if it does, you'd be able to deal with the outcomes.

If you start to feel weird side effects, than you should go see a doctor.

It is unlikely you are pregnant (or contract any STIs), especially if you properly used the condom. I don't know how many days you are into your period, but the egg usually passes before the start of the period or in the first couple of days of menstruation. After the egg has passed, there is nothing left to fertilize. To be on the safe side, take a pregnancy test as soon as possible.

I think you are being paranoid.
Have you ever tried to use a condom as a water balloon? I did back in my wild days with my wild friends, and let me tell you- it doesn't make for a very good water balloon fight. They are way stronger than the appear! We had to stomp on them to get them to burst. And we are talking FULL of water, here.
Listen, if you become 2 weeks late for your next due period, then take a test. But I would wager you have no worries.
