Burned my hair

Question Posted Thursday June 7 2007, 8:40 pm

Yesterday i tried to curl my hair. It didn't work at first, so i kept the iron on my hair for a kind of long time to try to curl it. Afterward, i noticed my room smelled like i'd burned something, and today someone asked me if i'd burned my hair. I smelled it after that, and it did smell like i burned it. My hair still looks fine, i just can't stand the smell.

Is there anything i can do to make the smell go away? I've already tried shampooing etc

Well. If you shampooed it so many times it should have already gone away. But the smell should eventually go away its not going to stay there forever and remember its not the ned of the world. At least use some perfume to spray on you so that no one will focuse on the burned smell.
Thats all I can say...if I search up any good shampoos or something I will tell you. :D Ok.

Most likely your hair had moister in your hair, that can happen if you didn't blow dry it enough, or the room is moist or damp. That will cause your hair to smoke and smell bad after straightening/curling iron it. The smell should go away within a few days, datanglers and mooses will take the smell away faster! :) Good luck!

I just recently tried curling my hair (disaster!) lol, anyways if youve already shampooed and conditioned it, try spraying some detangler or something in it to rid the smell. As for your room just spray some bath & body works or perfume. If all else fails, the smell will wear out in two or three days.
