Okay so
If you are talking about your best friend and your boyfriend knows her, and asks "Oh does she have a boyfriend?" Do you think it would just be conversation or that he's interested? And how do you deal with jealousy from this? Should I ask if he likes her? & if so, what should I say..?

In addition to what everyone said, you shouldn't worry because he would definitely ask someone else and not you his girlfriend. If anything, some guys (their jealosy issues) like to know if your girlfriends have boyfriends because then they don't have to worry that if you were hanging out with your single girlfriends they would be "influencing you" to pick up guys or be open to guys picking you up (living the single life is fun and flirtacious) Thats just some insecurities guys have.

No, I don't think he likes her. If he does, he wouldn't be asking you, his girlfriend, about it. He'd ask someone else. Like everyone under me said, I wouldn't make a big deal of it =]

I don't think he's interested. If he were, there would be other ways to find out than asking you, his girlfriend. Don't worry. Maybe one of his friends likes her and he was finding out for them! You never know! Seriously, don't worry about it, it was nothing.

well i try not to be jealous over the smallest thing, which this seems to be. it is a possibility that he has a friend that likes her or something like that...
if he is your boyfriend, he is obviously committed to you and you only. i wouldn't make it into a big deal if I were you.
