More than a mate?
My best guy mate is called phil. He's really nice and sweet and i know he would never hurt anyone on purpose. But over the past couple of weeks he's been acting weirdly with me. For example, if we're talking on msn and he has to go, he used to just say g2g cya xx then go offline before i even reply. But now he doesn't go offline untill i answer and he says g2g cya with loads and loads of kisses and sometimes with a heart and allways with a sad smiley face.
We made up this joke a couple of weeks ago, like we would call each my lovly or something, and now he starts calling me babe and baby and everything.
He told me he likes someone and apprantly everyone knows. But, i wanted to know why he wouldn't tell me, we tell each other everything, and i mean everything, everyone was saying it's me but i kept saying we're only friends. Well, i finally got it out of him and he said ''well, i'm not sure yet but it might be storme [this other girl at my school], but i'm not sure yet'' and i asked him why he wouldn't tell me before and he said i didn't want to :(.
Arghh it's pissing me off! Does he like me or is he messing around with me?!

ok he deffinately is trying harder to be nice to you. he likes you but realy think he likes storme to (but not alot). your just asking too much of him. he said he didnt want to cause he didnt need. he did think it would matter to you so much. try making as much as an effort as him. he'll forget all about storme and head for you. hope that helped

Honestly? .. I think he likes you.
If he's typing loads and loads of kisses to you, calling you 'babe' or 'baby', he's obviously trying to tell you something.
If he wouldn't tell you at first (that he likes you), then clearly he was trying to keep it a secret from you at first. Like you said, you guys tell eachother everything..so wouldn't he tell you? Maybe he was embarassed. And he said he likes Storme, ..but come on now!
So yes. HE LIKES YOU.

one possible thing is that he liekd you b4 but you were sending him negative messages so he used this storm girl as a cover up but i would say he deffinenttly has had or still has a thing for you
