well, the guy I like is exactly one year younger than me. I'm going to be a sophmore next year. Should I be ashamed? I'm afraid everyone at church will think I cant get a guy my own age. But, I really like him...I think he might too...advice?
CheerCandi answered Friday June 1 2007, 8:56 pm: o yah thats ok. some girls can be up to 3 years older. you shouldnt care what others think.(even tho it realy is hard sometimes)i dont think anyone will actually think that. if you realy like him then it really shouldnt matter. i actually have alot of freiends (that are girls) that are older than their bf.
if you liked my advice then plz tell me.
hope that helped! if u have any more question just ask me whenever on whatever. tell others too =)
lbwhite89 answered Friday June 1 2007, 7:02 pm: Trust me, one year isn't a big deal. It may seem like a big deal now, if you're particularly young.
For example, if you're 15 and going into high school, you may think dating a 14 year old is weird or you might get made fun of. But then again, if you're 24 and the other person is 23, the difference is pretty much nothing.
Like the other person here said, most couples have an age difference. You can't be exactly the same age. And if he was the one that was a year old, you wouldn't think it was a big deal because HE'D be the cool older one.

I mean, take a look at all your parents, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and family friends, and friends who got married. most of them have more than a years difference. my grandparents have four years between them... there are people with more than ten years difference. It makes no difference. [ basketcase_x08's advice column | Ask basketcase_x08 A Question ]
