Okay for someone who is 5'8 1/2" is 160-165 a good weight..like flat stomach? Because I only need to loose about 5-10 pounds.
But I was wondering is it possible when you first start a diet if you eat right and exercise well you can loose ABOUT 5 pounds once a week the first 2 weeks of your diet? (so about 10 pounds total) and then it slows down to about 2 pounds a week?
advice_expert101 answered Friday June 1 2007, 9:52 pm: yeah i would say its good. if not just go on google and get your bmi or whatever that thing is. you just have to type in your weight and height and it tells you if its healthy or not.
and like either way, dieting and exercising arent bad. its just if you dont eat thats bad. so just eat right and exercise. if you already have a flat stomach or pretty skinny then you might gain eight but like in muscle. like pretty much tone up and get a tight stomach/legs or whatever.
but yeah you could loose 5 pounds in a week. you just serouisly would have to cut back on like ALL the sweets and only eat healthy. no soda, no snacks, no fat foods. drink a lot of water :]
but i mean eat only healthy.
do alot of sit ups like atleast 100. im trying to do 600 a night now because i want abs fast. haha. and running is good too. google pretty much has everything. so just go on there and type in working out stuff(you know what i mean). or just like look at the other questing in my advice column. :]
hope i helpedd. [ advice_expert101's advice column | Ask advice_expert101 A Question ]
ImFakingHotPink answered Friday June 1 2007, 9:26 pm: I don't want to sugar coat anything, though 160-165 is not overweight for being 5'8" i don't believe that you can get a flat stomach unless you are like ALL muscle. However, this also depends on how your body suits your weight. For instance I know a girl who weight about 190 and has no rolls and looks like she weights 150 pounds.
YES, it is. Depending on what diet it is. Diets such as the South Beach Diet and Atkins can give you those results IF YOU FOLLOW perfectly. Also, the heavier you are, the more weight you loose in the beginning. However, don't try to hard to loose weight fast because it will be partly water weight. TEENAGExHEARTS answered Friday June 1 2007, 3:51 pm: ok well i plugged in your height and weight in a BMI calculator and at 160 pounds you are at a normal weight. but at 165 you are on the very edge of being overweight. but this doesn't neccisaraly mean you are overweight. also a certain doesn't mean that you will have a flat stomach or not. someone might weight a lot because of muscle and be considered overweight, yet they could have a very flat stomach.
right when you start a diet, yes it is possible to lose about 5 pounds a week because your body isn't used to the diet yet. but after a couple of weeks your body will get more used to the diet and then you will only be able to lose about 1-2 pounds a week.
