If you need a way to vent or just release stress, try drawing, running, praying, writing. I started writing a lot when I was no longer able to depend on my friends always being there, and it helps. Start a journal, write how you feel. Or write a story. Express your emotions through your characters. And if you don't want to do these things, you can always talk to me. I love to listen. I won't get angry or aynthing because I'm used to listening to my friends. You dont have to give me names or details or anything if you don't want to.
Just a suggestion.
Hope I helped

Keosha answered Thursday May 31 2007, 8:22 pm: Honey, You are relying on other people to make you happy. I used to be the same way and it took me 4+ years to get over it because I didnt see it. All your friends are tired of hearing you complain over stuff that you probably have control over. I am not judging you, I have just been there. You have to stop letting other people make you happy because you cant be happy at all until you are happy with yourself first. Find ways to deal with things rather than complain. Evaluate the situation...see if you have control over it, and if you do find something you can do to change it. A lot of times you have to find fault in yourself. Dig deep down in there. If you need someone to talk to holla at me.

Arthane answered Wednesday May 30 2007, 10:25 pm: Believe it or not this sort of thing happens to alot of teens these days. I believe that there are two senarios going on here. You don't have to agree with me, but the same thing was happening to me and this is what I did. I found out that I had a real bad issue of dealing with depression. Depression? I couldn't believe it, I was active, had alot of friends, how could I possibly have a problem with depression. Then it hit me, our brains are active 24/7, and it records evreything. I realized that because I was abused as a child, my brain stored all of thoes negative feelings, and as a result of that, I was dealing with depression. Now I'm not saying that something that traumatic had to happen to you in order for you to get depressed. But it could be all the little negative things in your life all squished together in one single mass, and your brain is trying to deal with it. Secondly I found that I was complaining alot. It's okay to let your friends know how you feel, but when they hear bad news all the time, it sort of brings them down too. Im not saying that these are definatly your problems, but they could be possibilities, they were mine. Hope this helps you out.:) [ Arthane's advice column | Ask Arthane A Question ]
