tampons. i used a tampon for the first time today, and i'm not sure everything was quite right. i could feel it, but only when i was thinking about it, so its possible i was just freaking myself out. well, i went to the bathroom, and it came out a little and hurt, so i took it out. was it just not in far enough, or what?

You should never be able to feel your tampon. Maybe just maaaybe you might feel the string, but if you're feeling the tampon you need to take it out completely and try again with a new one. Under no circumstances can you just "push it in a little more". ]
yea at first it was like that for me to weird but hey it happens i does hurt at first but only cause you aren't used to it yet but ya try to push it up a little more so it doesn't slip !!! hope this helps ]
At first when I started using a tampon it was all psychological because it was my first time and I wasn't used to it and I knew it was there. You may have not put it in far enough, which is normal. You can usually feel it when your sitting down, just make sure to go in a little deeper next time. Once you use tampons alot you won't notice it anymore so no worries.
Hope I Helped.

It is possible that it just wasn't in far enough but the most likely reason that it hurt when you took it out was that it wasn't saturated with enough blood.
Don't worry about putting one in because you'll just psyche yourself out, which is why you could only feel it when you thought about it.
You don't always insert it perfectly the first time, so just try again. Look on the box and it will tell you exactly how to insert it if you happen to have a question about that.
Hope this helps! ]
