Good things:
- Heats up fast.
- Doesn't damage hair as much as most straighteners.
- Straightens your hair no matter how curly/wavy it is.

Bad things:
- Breaks easily.
- Expensive.

Well, I have the original black one that says 'global beauty' or something on it.
I got mine at Ulta & it was around 100 dollars, but trust me when i say this ... it's worth it.

i actually just bought one from this site thursday night:

www.folica.com

and it just came in the mail today! i'm so excited to use it tomorrow morning :]

but my hair is the SAME as yours and i bought the Chi 2" Turbo one. and it was about $130. i would definitely recommend buying one from that site because it has a one year money back garuntee.

also if you buy one soon you get free shipping, a free hot iron mat, and a free travel case :] lol i sound like an advertisment.

but i'll let you know how mine works :]

hey

i have a chi straightener and it is THE BEST! i have a 2" flat iron and it is amazingg!

it's around like $100-$120 depending on where you buy it. i have the same hair as you! i'm indian so my hair is PRETTY thick, but pretty straight too. when i get out of the shower, it's one great big wave.

BUY ONE! it's the best straightener out there and worth EVERY penny.

yes. it is most definitely worth it. it straightens even the curliest hair ever really fast. i love it. i would reccomend the skinny ceramic one. they have a cute pink one that works really well, i think it was a limited edition but they might still have it so look out for that. =]

omfg i have the exact same kind of hair. I have the regular chi straightner... I don't know which model it is exactly, but it's liek thin and everything u know...

i'd say it's pretty well worth it. It's the only straightner that works for me.

so yeahh i'd say get it if no other straightners work for u.
