Does water make you gain weight? I know in the long run that it makes you lose weight, but if you drank a lot of water in one day & weighed yourself, would you weigh more? Thanks!

It may appear that you have gained a few pounds if you stand on the scale after drinking a lot, but as soon as you go to the toilet that will all disappear. [ x_s_a_r_a_h_x's advice column | Ask x_s_a_r_a_h_x A Question ]
Brandi_S answered Thursday May 24 2007, 12:17 am: No. Water is the best thing for you, considering your body is made mostly of water.
Drinking a lot of water not only cleanses your body, but prevents you from carrying excess water weight.
If you drink a lot of water in one day and weighed yourself, I doubt you would have any additional weight other than the weight of a full bladder. :) [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]
