tampon =[
i'm so paranoid about keeping a tampon in for more than 1 hour. i don't know why, but i feel like i'm gonna get TSS or something if i keep it in for like 2 hours or something. yesterday i put one in and i took it out after 30 minutes! what should i do about this?

30 minutes ! you have to keep it for longer than that. Your wasting it if you dont. You can safely keep it in for 4-6 hours. As long as you have it in right and dont already have any problems down there then you'll be fine. If you want then look up information on TSS.

Well thirty minutes is a little bit short, but if thats all ur comfortable with thats all your comfortable with. However, keeping a tampon in for about four hours is definitly safe.

Don't think about it. I've left a tampon in for 10 hours. I know, pretty gross, but I fell asleep with one in. Nothing happened. Tell yourself nothing will happen.
Or, if you just can't do it, then just go back to pads.

if you think the worse then most likely the worst will come upon you. Well by doing what you are doing by pulling out the tampon after like 30 minutes is a waste of tampons and they arent that cheap , well atleast the ones i buy arent. Ive been using tampons for 3 yrs and nothing has happened to me. Ya i heard about TSS. My boyfriends mom had it , but you cant run around the house being scared all your life about it. Most likely you wont get it so i say just stop worrying. I mean pads are deffently uncomfortable and i hate them. Tampons save me from bleeding through my pants thats the main reason i use them. Everything will be ok , really its nothing to worry about.
