Me and my best friend both like this boy who is so cute but yesterday he told me that he likes me and not my friend i dont want to hurt her feelings but she keeps throwing herself at him and he doesn't even like her what should i do(female,14)
AdViCeGiRl14 answered Thursday May 17 2007, 11:03 pm: well, you cant just say "he likes me and not you so get over it." you have to put it delicately so you dont hurt your friends feelings. because you do need to tell her. instead of making a statement, put it in the form of a guess or something like... well we've been talking and he's told me some things, i hope youre okay with that. tell her before he does. because you need to be a good friend. and thats what friends do. but dont throw it in her face. DepthofHeart answered Thursday May 17 2007, 10:52 pm: It would probably be better if you told your friend, not this guy. That would most likely just embaress her to hear it from him. Tell her that you like him and he likes you back, and ask her if she would be okay with you two dating. If she's a good friend she should be okay with it since you both like him. Only one of you could get him right? Just make sure he doesn't get between you two.
