serious problems at school; tell me what you think
O.k., so I'm hispanic, 15 years old and I'm a softmore in highschool. The girls in New Jersey are the farthest from civilized and nice I have ever come to meet. Now, for some reason, they all seem to hate me, and they show it very clearly. Talking about me behind my back, bumping into me, or even speaking about me outloud but indirectly, just so I know its about me. I mean, seriously, we'll be in college soon! So, I know its no one's issue, but I am THE nicest of people (to a certain extent, of course), and not bitchy (though a bit conceited) or confrontal at all, so I really can't bring myself to ever stand up to them...I dont know what I should do, because any place I go here, I end up hating...so if anyone could give me some great advice and please help. Honestly, girls will be girls. They'll find a tiny little reason to hate you & then act on it. It's dumb, of course -- but everyone does it. Everyone dislikes someone to a certain extent, there's no hiding it.

They obviously aren't mature & that's fine. Ignore them. They're not worth your time & you can tell that their not friend material. Even though you're not confrontal, just go ask them why they dislike you. There could be a ton of reasons. Maybe they're racist, maybe they're stupid, or maybe they're judgemental. Either way, you probably can't change their minds but you can ignore them & continue with life. They don't matter.

And it doesn't matter how nice you are -- people will always try to find a flaw & hate you for it. Lots of people are going to hate you & you can't stop that. I'm just like you. Hispanic, 16 & a sophmore. People at my school hate me for no reason. Most of them haven't gotten to know me, and I accept that. I mean, if they don't like me, who cares? I can't change them & I don't really want to. If they're that ignorant, why should I give a damn what they think & why should I try to change their minds? I shouldn't. Either way, chances are I don't like them either, so just ignore what people say & accept it.

Well there could be a number of reasons why they dont like you.
1.They could be jealous of your looks or your friends or a boy that likes you but doesnt like one of them or something you have?
2. Are you sure you havent done ANYTHING to make any of them angry with you?
3. they are just bitches overall they dont like you because they choose to. I hate it when people do that but sometimes people put other people down because they are insecure and it makes them feel better about themself. (pretty immature)
Well I think that you should think about what you would like to say to these girls and somehow find the courage to stand up to them and ask why they are doing this to you. If you can't bring yourself to do that another option would be to write them a note or email or myspace or something asking the same thing that you would say to them. Dont be mean when/if you do that so they be evenbmore mean to you!

just get your studies done and get out fast enough to get to college. i mean why would you want somebody who talks shit about you all the time anyways or about anybody else!
to stand up to them well i must say you need to build up courage! i know its hard and scary but if you never do they will keep on doing this to you! for example me if somebody is making fun of me i HAVE 2 say something back its like a MUST lol. [[although mine comes naturaly because of the mom i have haha]] but try 2 think of things to say...i mean dont be mean back but it is good at times to give them a taste of their own medicine=]] good luck!
