Question Posted Sunday May 13 2007, 9:16 pm

i had an alergic reaction to veet rasera.

it looks like i took a red ballpoint pin and drew dots all over my legs. its been there for 3 days and i can tell that they are tiny scabs.

what should i do about getting them to go away sooner and not leave scars?

if you need pictures let me know.

It might be an allergic reaction to something in the veet. I got the same thing after using it, but my mom said it could have been because i had shaved my legs like a few days before and the skin was still tender from that. It might be like a form of razor burn. If it doesnt go away, have it looked at. I wouldn't worry too much unless it stays for awhile longer. Use unscented lotion to keep your skin from getting to dry and put neosporin on it.

You best bet is to use some Neosporin. Something that will heal a cut or rash. But honestly, i would go to the doctor. Only because you are allergic to something in the Veet and you need to know what. So you dont use the product with that type of ingredients again. I read what the other girl wrote and hydrogen peroxide is a powerful bleaching agent that has found use as a disinfectant, as an oxidizer, and in rocketry!!!! YOU DONT TRY GETING RID OF A RASH WITH THAT!. Trust me, its been 3days. Talk to a doctor.

Take some kind of OTC medicine, like Benadryl, or apply Benadryl gel. Maybe use some hydrogen peroxide, but only do a little bit at first and see if it hurts.

Don't pick at it, shave, or use any kind of product, even soap, on your legs and it should go away fairly quickly.
