people keep saying I am a rocker and I like that because I want to be rocker or emo BUT the problem is that I act like a preppy girl and I dress like that and this school year I keep think WHAT IS MY LABEL??????
Xineph answered Thursday May 10 2007, 10:48 pm: Your label is you.
Don't let yourself get lumped into a list of teenagers who happen to dress the same way as you. That's a hole many kids fall into. Do that, and you're just a statistic. [ Xineph's advice column | Ask Xineph A Question ]

DepthofHeart answered Thursday May 10 2007, 10:04 pm: You're you. You don't need a label, and you shouldn't want to label yourself. Nobody can tell you who you are, only you can. You can't just pretend to be someone you're not, then you're just a poser. So just be yourself and don't pay attention to how people label you.
Teza answered Thursday May 10 2007, 9:59 pm: It's actually quite sad how you want a label andhow you want to portray an image that you're really not. You can't really act "preppy". Preppy is a style and so is emo. I may sound mean but I'm just being honest with you. If you're a ROCKER chick and wanna be emo, you be that but be who you are not who other people want you to be. Try to be yourself. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
